Welcome to the Anoka County Radio Control Club
ACRC is organized to preserve, encourage, and further the hobby of building and flying radio control model aircraft.
ACRC provides its club members with a flying field, participation in events such as fun-flys, contact with other experienced builders and fliers, and assistance in assembling and flying various airplanes and helicopters. Flight Training is available. In addition we publish a monthly newsletter available on line with back issues available upon request.
Meetings are held at 7 PM on the third Thursday of each month. From September through April the meetings are at Riverwind Community Center, 2701 Northdale Blvd., Coon Rapids. May through August Meetings are held at the flying field. Visitors are welcome.
Reminder: All members of ACRC as well as visiting pilots must belong to the A.M.A. (Academy of Model Aeronautics) in order to have flying privileges. A.M.A. information can be obtained by calling 800-435-9262 or by visiting http://www.modelaircraft.org.
