| Pattern Meet |
A competition where the pilot's flight proficiency is judged via a set of predefined maneuvers. |

| Combat Fly |
Pilots fly SSC type aircraft and try to make cuts in the trailing ribbons of other
aircraft while not letting other pilots cut theirs. While mid-air collisions are
not the intent, it does sometimes happen. See the

You'll see swarms of scale and semi-scale military aircraft in the air as well as on the flight line. |
