ACRC At Large

Dedicated to raising awareness of RC flight as a hobby, our club, and recruiting new members as well as spectators.

We have a team of seasoned, highly dedicated, and experienced instructors who train new members one-on-one, from first flight to first solo flight and on through advanced maneuver training. Email our instructors and ask to schedule a free discovery flight. One of our instructors will guide you as they let you take the stick and fly one of our trainer airplanes. This is a free service provided by our club for prospective members.

ACRC provides its club members with:
  • a paved runway flying field
    		•
  • participation in flying events
    		•
  • contact with other experienced builders and fliers
    		•
  • assistance with assembling and flying your airplane or helicopter
    		•

    Spring, summer, and fall, we fly almost daily with major events held on weekends. Come out to the field, meet us, and enjoy an exciting day of radio control model airplane flight. Click here to see our schedule of events.

    Community Involvement
    We're active with the Boy Scouts of America.

    We encourage youth participation through on-field flight training where youth get to take the stick and fly club provided trainer airplanes with an instructor.

    ACRC members patronize local businesses and hobby shops.
